Gift Shop
Gift Shops area available at both Louise Marshall Hospital and Palmerston and District Hospital. Due to COVID-19 Gift Shops are closed.
The Shops are located just inside the main hospital doors in each hospital site.
In addition to gift items, the shop offers a small selection of toiletries, reading material and puzzle books.

Spiritual Care
Spiritual care can be made available to visitors of a patient.
Please speak with a member of the patient’s health care team who will arrange this service.
Flowers and Balloons
North Wellington Health Care of Louise Marshall Hospital and Palmerston and District Hospital do not permit latex balloons in the hospital due to allergies.
However, mylar balloons are permitted (the silver, shiny balloons).
Flowers
We ask you avoid bringing in flowers with a strong scent, such as lilies.
Scented products can trigger allergic reactions.
Scent Free Policy
North Wellington Health Care of Louise Marshall Hospital and Palmerston and District Hospital have a scent free policy.
Please do not wear scented perfumes, or use scented soaps or lotions when planning to visit the hospital.
Many patients and staff members have allergies to perfumes.
Smoking Policy
North Wellington Health Care of Louise Marshall Hospital and Palmerston and District Hospital is a smoke-free environment.
Smoking is prohibited on hospital property.
Pet Policy
Animals are not permitted in the hospital.
However, registered service animals are permitted within Louise Marshall Hospital and Palmerston and District Hospital.
Service animals are required to have identification upon entering the hospital, be at least one year old and must have an annual certificate (not required to be carried).
Parking
Louise Marshall Hospital and Palmerston and District Hospital each have a large parking lot beside the building.
Please avoid using specifically marked handicap spaces unless you have a permit. In addition, please avoid using specifically marked Dialysis parking spaces unless you are visiting the hospital for this specific service.
